Born in Tokyo, Osamu Harada graduated from Tama Art University and hit the ground running in the creative world. His illustration career kicked off in 1970 with the launch of the iconic magazine an・an. From there, Harada’s playful and polished style quickly made its mark across magazines and advertisements.
In 1976, he struck gold with the creation of OSAMU GOODS, a character inspired by the whimsical charm of Mother Goose. This endearing design became a cultural phenomenon, captivating the hearts of japanese girls nationwide. Harada’s work continues to be celebrated for its timeless blend of simplicity, charm, and creativity.
